"DC" has been quite fortunate to have been a member of only top F1 teams (Williams and McLaren), enabling him to jumpstart his career extremely quickly (although he did start his career with the difficult task of filling in for the deceased Ayrton Senna). It is often overlooked due to his success in the last six years, but David is still at a comparatively young age of 32, which means he has many seasons ahead to attain the World Championship. In the past few years at McLaren he had to play second fiddle to his team mate, Mika Häkkinen, yet since 2001 he has become the main rival to Michael Schumacher. Now in 2003, David is one of the most talented and famous drivers in the world, and should McLaren lessen the gap between themselves and Ferrari David will surely claim that elusive world championship.
